[Similan Islands] [Bon Island] [Tahcai Island] [Richelieu Rock]
Twin Peaks (the Tachai Pinnacle) is a submerged rocky reef about 500m south of Koh Tachai. Around the main dome-shaped rock that looks like an upside down bowl are rocky reefs dotted around as if to surround it. This site has the strongest current out of those visited on cruises, but when species like giant trevally, bluefin trevally and fusiliers come by on the current, it's so dramatic that you often can't see your buddy because of the sheer number of fish! During early morning or sunset dives you can see them being attacked by extra large giant trevally. This site is guaranteed to offer an adrenanin rush. Manta rays and whale sharks are often seen too.
Depth :Max 35m, Average 15m Current :Strong Contour :Hidden Root Visibility:15m-40m Highlights :Dynamic feeding scenes, with thick shoals of fish. Whale Shark, Manta Ray.

When the currents are strong here, the schools of fish become thicker. Giant trevally and schools of barracuda come to feed on groups of fusilier - a huge highlight. When there is no current, the diving is easy but not the best. In a sense, this site can disappoint divers. A mooring line is used for the ascent and descent.
