[Similan Islands] [Bon Island] [Tahcai Island] [Richelieu Rock]
Donald Duck Bay is inside a bay in front of the main beach of Island 8, the biggest of the Similan Islands. Its name comes from a pile of strangely-shaped rocks that look like Donald Duck's head. Can you see Donald facing left in the centre of the photo on the right? As it's in a bay, this site is often used for night diving as the water is always calm. Lots of lobsters can be seen at night, and as it's sheltered from the waves, many cruise ships also moor here during the night.
Depth :Max 20m、Average 10m Current :Mild flow Contour :Overlapping rocks Visibility:15m-40m Highlights :Scenes of overlapping rocks. Lobsters during a night dive.

Perhaps it's a coincidence of the natural world, but this huge rock looks just like Donald Duck.Other such objects formed by coincidence also exist around the Similan Islands, such as gorilla, shark, turtle and elephant.Even higher up on this rock is the famous balancing rock, which you may get a chance to climb during your cruise. Take a look at the top of it in our photo gallery!
